Obituary



Gloria Ann Billups, 87, of Huntington, widow of Ollie S. Billups, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2016 at the Woodland Oaks Health Care Facility, Ashland, KY. Graveside service will be conducted 10:00 am Wednesday at White Chapel Mausoleum in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Entombment will follow in the Good Shepherd Mausoleum. She was born August 18, 1929 in Wayne County, WV, a daughter of the late William and Minnie Runyon Crisel. In addition to her husband and parents she is preceded in death by six sisters, Edna Mae Mays, June Chapman, Mary Moore, Mauntery Chafin, Mauney Dishon, and Dave Ola Fulerton; and four brothers, Robert Crisel, Richard Crisel, William Crisel and Raben Crisel. She was a mother, grandmother and homemaker. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Robert Marshall Billups and Patricia Lewis of Michigan City, IN; a sister and brother-in-law, Aloma Sue and Vernon Doak of South Point, OH; seven grandchildren and spouses, Lisa and Mark Vickers, Robert and Michelle Billups, Louisa and Ray Johnson, Karen and Bill Koch, Susan and John Emerick, Peggy and Dan Lustgarten, and Kevin Lewis; 15 great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Alzheimer's Association.
