Obituary


Charles Thomas Ginger (Chuck), 54, died unexpectedly in Huntington, West Virginia, November 21, 2016. He is predeceased by his parents, Edith (Early) Ginger and Prentiss Moore Ginger. He is survived by his two sisters, Pattie (Bobby) Necessary, Naples, Florida and Penny Ginger, Fort Myers, Florida and one brother, Hardrock (Micki) Ginger, Flatwoods, Kentucky. He is also survived by his two nieces, Trisha Necessary, Naples, Florida and Erin (Dan) Ulmen, Lakewood, Colorado and his three nephews, Jeff Ginger (Jamie) Ironton, Ohio, Rustin Necessary (Jessica) Austin, Texas and Ryan Long, Marietta, Georgia. Also surviving, are several great nieces and great nephews. Chuck was born in Huntington, West Virginia on October 13, 1962. He attended schools in Huntington, WV and Tampa, FL. He graduated from Huntington High School and later was certified and licensed in installing and repairing commercial HVAC units in and around Orlando, FL working for the Trane Company for many years. The youngest of four children he loved animals and especially his beloved dogs, Muffin and Molly. You could see him walking them in Ritter Park nearly every day. He was an avid lover of Karaoke and country western music, often writing and singing his own songs with his guitar. His smile and humor will be greatly missed. Chapman's Mortuary is assisting the family. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later time.
