Clarence Frederick "Cap" Bunting

Clarence Frederick "Cap" Bunting, 81,of Huntington, WV, husband of Helen Francis Hill Bunting, died Saturday February 13, 2010 at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born March 16, 1928 in Charleston, WV a son of the late William Harlan and Lucy Beatrice Cliff Bunting. Two sisters, Francis Abbott and Mary Arthur also preceded him in death. "Cap" was a U.S. Coast Guard Veteran, a member of the 26th Street Church of Christ, and had retired from Appalachian Power Company. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael Bunting of Albany, GA, Joe Bunting of Sparta, NC, and Bruce and Bang Jing Bunting of Seattle, WA; six grandchildren, Jason, Niles, Brock, Shelli, Adam, and Chelyan; and three great grandchildren, Jason, Carter, and Emma. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday February 18, 2010 at Chapman's Mortuary with Minister Alan C. Cole officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation one hour before service Thursday at the funeral home.
