Arlene
Holloway

Arlene T. Holloway, 52, of Bronx, NY,
moved to Huntington, WV six years ago, was called to be with the Lord in
Paradise on Saturday, February 13, 2010. She was a loving wife, wonderful
mother, and a devoted grandmother. She attended schools 110, 148, and Dodge
High School, all of the Bronx, NY. She also attended Hunter College to get
her Associate Degree in Sociology. Afterwards, she just loved her husband,
raised her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her
parents, Mr. Roscoe T. and Mrs. Hazel T. Harden. She is survived by her
loving husband of 16 wonderful years, Anthony M. Holloway. She's also
survived by one son, Deshawn Harden of the Bronx; two daughters, Sakima
Harden of Huntington, WV and Nakia Harden of Charleston, WV. Her pride and
joy were her six grandchildren, Alonzo, Stefan, Deshawn Jr., Jada, Tyree and
Jamiyah. She is also survived by her two sisters, Reba Bedford of Portsmouth,
VA and Cindy Davis of Winston-Salem, NC; four brothers, Theodore Harden Jr.
of Huntington, WV, Kevin Harden and wife Vanessa of the Bronx, Jerome Harden
of Huntington, WV and Archie Nelson of the Bronx; one nephew, David; and
four nieces Kimberly, Hazel, Katie and Tiffany; and a host of family and
friends. Visitation will be from 1 PM to 2:00 PM Friday, February 19, 2010
at Chapman's Mortuary. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Friday
February 19, 2010, with Bishop John Morris officiating.
