Wanda Shirley Ross, 81, of Huntington, WV, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2010, in Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, February 5, 2010, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Rev. Ken Toler officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. She was born May 15, 1928 in Rainelle, WV a daughter of the late William and Blanche Carlisle Robinson. Her husband, Phil F. Ross, JR and a granddaughter, Kathryne Elizabeth Barbour, also preceded her in death. She was a business owner and entrepreneur since 1973. Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Steven and Kim Ross of Huntington and Dr. Gary and Kathy Ross of Shallotte, NC; a sister and brother-in-law, Lily Mae and David Darling of Baltimore, MD; four grandchildren, Amanda Ross-Barr and Jeffery Barr of Huntington and Erin, Fallon, and Kelsey Ross, all of Shallotte, NC; and four great grandchildren, Peter, Jason, Tristan, and Julie. Friends may call from 1:00 to 2:00 PM Friday at Chapman's Mortuary.
