Donald Reid Brooks, 83, of Huntington, WV, died Sunday July 10, 2011 in Cabell Huntington Hospital. Don was born November 6, 1927 in Raleigh, NC the son of the late Claude & Gertrude Brooks. He was owner & operator of Brooks Furniture. His wife Georgia Brooks preceded him in death. Survivors include 2 daughters, Trudy Wiltz & husband Dr. John Wiltz of Point Pleasant, WV, Tracey Handley & husband B.J. of Huntington, 3 grandchildren, Georgia, Savannah, & Macon Handley. Chapman’s Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
