Betty Jo Pauley
(May 5, 1929 - July 20, 2011)




Betty Jo Pauley, 82, of South Point, OH passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2011, in Heartland of Riverview, South Point, OH. She was born May 5, 1929 in Putnam County, WV a daughter of the late Hoyt Luther and Lula Virginia Nuckles Williams. Her husband, Dennis Pauley and a brother, Hoyt Lee Williams, also preceded her in death. She was a homemaker. Survivors include: three daughters and a son-in-law, Brenda and Pat Leighty of South Point, OH, DeEtta Leonard of South Point, Ohio, and Danette Pauley-Holstein of Huntington, WV; four grandchildren, Ronda Franklin and her husband, Martin, Patrick Leighty and his wife, Jessica, Tonya Dean and her husband, Stacy and Courtney Ferrell; nine great grandchildren, Kayla and Brenna Childers, Ryan Leighty, Baileigh and Brayden Dean, John Ryan Billups, Taylor Leighty, Bethany and BreAnna Franklin; a brother and sister-in-law, J.T. and Louise Williams of Proctorville, OH; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Ric Frazier, and Pastor Ricky Kirk officiating. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. Visitation will be from noon to 2:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
