Mr. Billy Allen Shafer, 32, of Huntington, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2011, at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:30 pm, Friday, August 6, 2011 at Chapman’s Mortuary, with Rev, Roger Smithers officiating. Entombment will be in White Chapel Memorial Gaedens, Barboursville. He was born August 29, 1978 in Huntington, WV . He was a former employee of S & S Tire. He was preceded in death by his “Mom”, Dorothy Edmonds Shafer. Surviving are a son, Cody Allen Shafer; “Dad” Billie L. Shafer, Sr.; brothers, Johnny (Monica) Shafer, Billy (Michele) Shafer, Jr.; sisters, Meia Marie Shafer (Shawn) McComas, Glenda Shafer (Joel), Pauletta Shafer Lewis (Kim Nathan), all of Huntington and Ireta Shafer (John), of Chesapeake, OH; his biological Mother, Martena Shafer Cremeans (Donald) of Huntington; his fiancé, Kimberly Tibbs; Special nieces and nephews, Liam “Buddy”, Kegan, Kasey, Piper, and Bryce McComas; a host of loving aunt, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; special friends, Norman Schroeder, Pam Parks, Tim Adkins and Rick Corwin. His greatest love was his son, Cody. He also loved the great outdoors, fishing, hunting, Nascar, and his Harley-Davidson. Friends may call at Chapman’s Mortuary after 11:30 am Friday.
