Ivan Jay Harless

Ivan Jay Harless, 70, of Huntington, WV, died Thursday July 21, 2011 in St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday July 26, 2011 at Chapman’s Mortuary Huntington with Pastor Edwin S. Harper officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Ivan was born December 4, 1940 in Huntington, WV a son of the late William & Letha Tabor Harless. He was a retired truck driver from Browning-Ferris Inc. & a life long member of the Apostolic Life Cathedral. He was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Harless. Survivors include two sons, Lee Harless of Huntington and Johnny Ray Cyrus of Indiana, and a special friend Barbara Aliff of Chesapeake, OH. Friends may call at Chapman’s Mortuary from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Monday July 25, 2011. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House.
