Elva Price Campbell
(August 14, 1918 - July 8, 2011)



Elva Price Campbell, 92 of Huntington, WV, died Friday July 8, 2011 in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday July 12, 2011 at Chapman’s Mortuary Huntington with Pastors Scott Jenkins & Steve Williams officiating. Burial will be in Milton Cemetery, Milton, WV. Elva was born August 14, 1918 in Cabell County, WV a daughter of the late William Thomas & Elnora Cyrus Price. She was preceded in death by her husband Alfred H. Campbell, great grandson, Emanuel Nixon, a loving son-in-law, James Ball, and 2 infant sisters. Survivors include 4 daughters, Venita Anderson & husband Darrell, Kay Ball, & Marsha Moore all of Huntington and Tanya Plybon & husband Dwight of Barboursville, 8 grandchildren, Richard Anderson & wife Amy, Christina Anderson Kimball & husband Rob, Michael Nixon & wife Kristin, Kathi Nixon Jenkins & husband Ben, Jamie Ball & wife Mary, Jeffery Ball & wife Angela, Amanda Moore Smith & husband Nathan and Christopher Moore, 11 great grandchildren, Nikki Anderson & fiancée Nicholas, Samantha Anderson & fiancée Seth, Connor Anderson-Kimball, Nathan Kimball, Mason Anderson, Mckenna & Jillene Nixon, Joshua Arnold, Alexis Ross, Anna & Jacob Ball, and 1 great great granddaughter, Brooklynn Anderson. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Floral arrangements will be accepted or donations to Hospice of Huntington. Friends may call at Chapman’s Mortuary from 6:00 until 9:00 PM Monday July 11, 2011.
