Beuford Leon Coleman
(June 6, 1927 - July 13, 2011)



Beuford Leon Coleman 84, of Lesage, WV, went to be with the Lord Wednesday July 13, 2011 in Saint Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted 12:30pm Wednesday, July 20, 2011, at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, with Dr. Bill Davis and Tommy Blake officiating. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton, with American Legion Post 139 conducting military graveside rites. He was born June 6, 1027 in Huntington, a son of the late Arthur and Sylvia Wallace Coleman. Two sisters and two brothers also preceded him in death. A graduate of Milton High School, he was a US Army veteran serving in Europe during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Thomas Memorial Freewill Baptist Church, and attended Greenbottom Missionary Baptist Church. He retired from the mechanical maintenance department at INCO. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Ella Mae Clark Coleman of Lesage; one daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Eddie Dejarnett of Salt Rock, WV; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Danny and Pam Coleman of Ona, WV, Perry Coleman of Lesage, Curtis and Tanja Coleman of Huntington; two sisters, Ethel Gibson of Huntington Beach, CA, and Orma Vannatter of Hurricane, WV; a brother Arthur Coleman Jr. of Milton; 10 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren; a special friend Larry Carey of Lesage, and many nieces, nephews. Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
