Thomas Joe Davisworth, 70, of Ona, WV, husband of Susan K. Taylor Davisworth, passed away Thursday September 8, 2011 at Cornerstone Hospital, Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Sunday September 11, 2011 at Chapman’s Mortuary with Pastor Doug Spurlock officiating. He was born April 26, 1941 in Huntington a son of the late Edwin Hall and Mary H. McClure Davisworth. Others preceding him in death were three brothers, Jimmy Lee Davisworth, Edwin H. Davisworth, Jr, and Billy M. Davisworth. He was a retired laborer for Construction Home Supply, in Ona, attended Second Guyandotte Missionary Baptist Church and was a member of the Huntington Archery Club. In addition to his wife survivors include his son, James Davisworth and girlfriend, Rachel Miller of Ona; a brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Wanda Davisworth of Huntington; his mother-in-law, Betty Taylor of Williamstown, WV; a special unborn baby granddaughter, Catlyn; and several nieces and nephews.
