Ruby Baker Robertson, 96, of Huntington, widow of Bacil F. “Blackie” Robertson, passed away Friday September 2, 2011, at Carter Nursing & Rehab Center, Grayson, KY. Rauby was born July 13, 1915 in Carter County, KY, a daughter of the late Watt and Beulah Gorman Baker. She also had two sisters, Phyllis Walker, and Edna Vickers; a brother, Ercel Baker, Sr.; two nephews, Lowell L. Baker, and Ercel Baker, Jr; and a niece, Linda Walker Marsh, precede her in death. She was a homemaker and member of the former Walnut Hills Baptist Church, having joined in 1949. Survivors include three nephews and their spouses, Larry and Wanda Walker of Michigan, Harold and Elizabeth Ann Baker of Olive Hill, and Tom and Peggy Ehrman of Archbold, OH; 13 great nieces and nephews; 14 great great nieces and nephews; and five great great great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday September 8, 2011 at Chapman’s Mortuary with Ernest M. Ritchie officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Huntington. Friends may call one hour before services Thursday at Chapman’s Mortuary.
