Patricia Sue Sturm
(September 10, 1938 - September 22, 2011)



Patricia Sue Sturm, 73, of Huntington, WV, died Thursday, September 22, 2011, in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Memorial service will be conducted 6:00 PM Sunday, October 2, 2011, at Trinity Church of God (Third Ave. & 27th St.) with Pastor Ken Toler officiating. Inurnment will be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington. Patricia was born September 10, 1938 in Yolyn, WV (Logan Co.) a daughter of the late William A. and Thelma Lowe Hensley. Her stepmother, Francis Hensley, also preceded her in death. She was Vice President and co-owner of Sturm & Company Realtors and Assistant Manager of Westview Manor Apartments. She was a graduate of Milton High School and attended the University of Hawaii, Old Dominion College, and Marshall University. She was a member of Trinity Church of God. Survivors include two daughters, Kim Sturm Parsons and husband Chris of Huntington and Dr. Pamela Sturm Anderson and husband Dennis of Culloden, WV; one son, Randy Sturm of Nitro, WV; five grandchildren, Candice Parsons of Barboursville, Jessalyn Parsons of Huntington, Nikki and Kristina Sturm, both of Lexington, KY, and Elise Anderson of Culloden, three great-grandchildren; Caleb Parsons of Barboursville and Elijah Thomas and Taylor Rust both of Lexington, two sisters, Phyllis Bays of Vanceburg, KY and Sandy Workman and husband Denny of South Point, OH.; and one brother; Bill Hensley and wife Sharon of Ashland, KY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, 3100 Staunton Rd., Huntington, WV 25702. Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, is assisting the family.
