Flora Darlene Stanley, 80, of West Chester, Ohio, formerly of Huntington, WV, widow of Bill Virgil Stanley, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2011, in Mercy Fairfield Hospital, Fairfield Ohio. She was a beautician, and was a member of Jefferson Avenue Church of God prior to moving to West Chester, Ohio. Graveside services will be conducted 12:00 pm Saturday, September 17, 2011, at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Paul Ray Farley officiating. Entombment will follow. She was born April 7, 1931, in Lynx, Ohio, a daughter of the late Noble and Esta Hayslip Spires. One son, Douglas Downing, a grandson Noble Douglas Downing, and two infant daughters also preceded her in death. Survivors include: two daughters, Frankie Faith Conley of Huntington and Lois Beth Stevens and her husband John of West Chester, Ohio; a step daughter, Deb Musser and her husband David of Ashland, KY; two sons, Terry Conley and his wife June of West Union, Ohio, and Alan Shane Downing of Huntington; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Friends may call one hour prior to service time Saturday at the cemetery.
