Charlotte Keller Nolte Garnes

Charlotte Keller Nolte Garnes, 84, of Macon GA, formerly of Huntington, passed away Friday, September 9, 2011, in Coliseum Medical Center, Macon, GA. She was born September 20, 1926 in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Delbert Charles and Grace Topping Keller. She was also preceded in death by two husbands, Roy Lee Nolte, and Frank Garnes; and two brothers, Laverne Keller, and Thurman Keller. She was a homemaker and a member of the former Emanuel United Methodist Church. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Claudia Nolte of Macon GA, with whom she made her home; a grandson and his spouse, Justin and Nicki Nolte of Charleston, SC; and a special niece, Judith Walls of New Port Richey, FL. Donations to the Hospice of Huntington in her name would be appreciated. Graveside services will be conducted 12:15 PM Tuesday September 13, 2011 at Spring Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Chapman’s Mortuary with the procession leaving at noon for the cemetery.
