Sarah A. Sesa
(July 15, 1944 - September 23, 2011)

Sarah A Sesa went home to be with the Lord on Friday morning, September 23, 2011. Funeral rites will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday September 26, 2011 at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church (828 15th St., Huntington, WV) with Rev. Fr. Livinus Uba officiating. She was born July 15, 1944 in Pensacola, Fl, the daughter of Marine Engineer, Francis Marion and his wife Ruby M Thompson Butler. A lover of creatures great and small, Sarah was devoted to helping rescued animals. Her beloved pets, Pappy and Sherie were rescued toy poodles that she adored. In her professional life Sarah had many Administrative assistant positions in social agencies. It was in helping others that Sarah was most gratified in her work. She could be heard saying how much she loved Jesus and became an active member in her church communities wherever she lived, lastly a devoted member of the St. Peter Claver Catholic Church Family. Sarah is survived by her loving husband, Carmine M. Sesa and her five step-children and their families, Carmine P. and Lori Sesa of Langhorne, PA ; Guy and Lori Sesa of Corvallis, MT; Rose and Charles Chapman of Huntington, WV; Anne and Policarpio Ramos of Liberty NY; and Janine Sesa and Joanne Wilson of Slate Hill, NY. Sarah and Carmine were also blessed with 11 precious grandchildren, spouses and two great grandchildren that gave her much joy. Sarah had great love for her nieces and nephews and for her special friend Fr. Ed Ogidan. One grandchild, Guy Thomas Sesa II and one step-son, Philip John Sesa, have predeceased her and two brothers, as well, have gone on ahead of her. May they be there to greet her now. The family would like to offer a special thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and Aides who took wonderful care of Sarah and the family as well, at the Cabell Huntington Hospital University Physicians Internal Medicine Group, the Oncology Unit and the Cardiac Telemetry Unit, and at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Chapman’s Mortuary Huntington is assisting the family.
