Dan Phillip Burnett
(November 14, 1959 - April 5, 2015)

Dan Phillip Burnett, 55, of Huntington, passed away Sunday April 5, 2015 at his residence. He was born November 14, 1959 in Huntington a son of Patsy Ruth Miller Davis of Huntington, and the late Jack Leroy Burnett. He was a member of New Life Church and worked providing meals for celebrations at New Life Church. Dan enjoyed the outdoors, loved to hunt and fish, and was a great cook. In addition to his mother survivors include his son, Daniel Patrick Burnett of Huntington and his girlfriend, Tara Sheets; a sister, Amanda Jean Burnett of Huntington; brother, Jack Lee Burnett of Barboursville; and the mother of his son, Kathy Lynn Johnson of Huntington. A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 pm Thursday, April 9,2015,at New Life Church, Huntington, with Pastor Joshua Huffman officiating. Donations would be appreciated for New Life Church. Friends may visit after 6:00 pm until service time Thursday at the church. Chapman’s Mortuary is assisting the family.
