Charles Russell Chapman
(May 23, 1938 - April 24, 2015)

Charles Russell Chapman, 76, of Huntington, WV, went home to be with his Lord, Friday April 24, 2015 at his residence. Funeral service will be conducted noon Wednesday April 29, 2015 at Chapman’s Mortuary Huntington with Pastor J. Andrew Magnusson officiating. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park. Charles was born May 23, 1938 in Pliney, WV, a son of the late Charles Russell & Virgie Alma Legg Chapman. He was a member of the Baptist Temple. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Senna Chapman, two sons, Russell & Johnny Chapman, one brother, Harold Chapman, two sisters, Martha Hayes & Mae Chapman. Survivors include three daughters, Alma Stephens, Valerie Misner & Lisa Sansom & boyfriend Billy Webb all of Huntington, two sons, Shawn (Cara) Chapman of Chesapeake, OH, Craig (Rosie) Chapman of Maryland, ten grandchildren, Lindsey & Cheyenne Misner, Summer (Buggs) Ramsey, Heather (John Mark) Curtis, Amber Sansom, Barbara (Ben) Dolin, Jessica, Shawn, Jr., Caitlyn & Carrie Chapman, eight great-grandchildren, Caleb, Hannah, Nevaeh, Braydon, Serenity, Jordan, Lilly & Tyler and several nieces & nephews. Friends may call at Chapman’s Mortuary from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday April 28, 2015.
