Obituary

Walter Allen Clark
(January 21, 2015)



Walter Allen Clark, 67, of Huntington, WV, joined his Heavenly Father, Wednesday, January 21, 2015, after a long illness. His parents, Thomas J. Clark, Jr., and Eva L. Clark, and a sister-in-law, Barbara Clark also preceded him in death. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 am Saturday, January 24, 2015, at Chapman’s Mortuary, with Pastor Tim Arthur officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Allen was a member of the Walnut Hills Baptist Church and attended Twenty Sixth Street Baptist Church. He was a retired carpenter and loved to hunt and fish. Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Shannon Lee O’Dell Clark; one son, Walter Allen Clark, II; one brother, Thomas J. Clark, III of Detroit, MI; an aunt, Carolyn S. Luker of Ona, WV; and two special sisters-in-law, Nellie Jones of Barboursville, and Betty Anderson of Huntington; two nieces, and a host of other friends and family.
