Obituary

Esther Lucille Johnson
(September 7, 1928 - January 17, 2015)



Esther Lucille Johnson 86, of South Point, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2015, in St. Mary’s Medical Center. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Tuesday, January 20, 2015, in the White Chapel Mausoleum, White Chapel Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Brady K. Lipscomb officiating. Entombment will follow. She was born September 7, 1928, in Cabell County, a daughter of the late George C. and Mary Fay Craigor Claypool. She was a retired supervisor for Red Roof Inns, and was Baptist by faith. Survivors include daughters, Sandra Hill of South Point, OH, Brenda McIe of Baltimore, MD, and Patricia Miller of Marion, OH; one son, Richard Earl of South Point, OH; a special granddaughter, Janey Burgess Lunsford of Urbana, OH; and numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Friends may call 30 minutes prior to service time Tuesday, January 20, 2015, at the cemetery.
