Gloria Gean Dillon
(September 28, 1942 - January 9, 2015)

Gloria Gean Dillon, 72, of Huntington, wife of Billy Joe Dillon, passed away Friday, January 9, 2015, at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 pm Tuesday, January 13, 2015, at Chapman's Mortuary with Ronnie Tyree officiating. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park., Huntington. She was born September 28, 1942, in Huntington, a daughter of the late Alvi Gue and Elizabeth Ball Gue Adkins. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Christopher Dillon; and a brother and two sisters. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She attended First Baptist Church, Chesapeake. In addition to her husband, survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Douglas Hodge of Huntington; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Garry and Theressa Dillon and Billy and Jenny Dillon, all of Huntington, and Sidney Dillon of White House, TN; two brothers, Tommy Gue of Florida, and Raymond Gue and wife, Mary of Huntington; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Gangwish, Jeremy Dillon, Shawn Dillon and wife, Alexis, Amanda Robinson and husband, Ronnie, Courtney Houchins and husband, Orin, Taylor Dillon, Douglas Hodge, and Joshua Hodge; and five great grandchildren, Carrie Gangwish, Zander Gangwish, Hayley Robinson, Bailey Head, and Xavier Houchins. Friends may call from 6:00-8:00 pm Monday at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington.
