Obituary

Fay Nida Dillon
(October 22, 1925 - January 11, 2015)



Fay Nida Dillon 89, of Huntington, WV, widow of Grover W. Dillon, passed away Sunday January 11, in Ellicott City, Maryland. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Friday, January 16, 2015, at Chapman’s Mortuary with Minister Alan Coles and Minister Chris Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park. She was born October 22, 1925, in Hamlin WV, a daughter of the late Homer S. and Iva M. Richardson Nida. One sister, Pauline Nida Kirk, and one brother, Russell L. Nida also preceded her in death. She was an administrative assistant at INCO, with 40 years of service and belonged to the Quarter Century Club, and a member of 26th Street Church of Christ. Survivors include one sister, Ruth Nida Meddings of Ellicott City, MD; and one brother, L. Mason Nida of Barboursville; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from noon to service time Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the 26th Street Church of Christ General Fund.
