Raymond Roy Thornburg
(September 1, 1931 - January 25, 2014)



Raymond Roy Thornburg, 83, of Huntington, WV died Sunday January 25, 2015 in St. Mary’s Medical Center. Raymond was born September 1, 1931 in Lesage, WV, a son of the late Owen David & Ceshell Mae Floyd Thornburg. He was retired from the former ACF Industries. He was also preceded in death by sisters; Anna Byrd, Hester Howard, Susie Hughes & Mary Herrenkohl, and brothers; Richard, John, & George Thornburg. He is survived by several nieces & nephews including Doug Hankins & Kim Poston who the family would like to thank for their special loving care. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to off-site expenses. A memorial service will be at a later date. Chapman’s Mortuary Huntington is assisting the family.
