David Lee Adkins, 70, of South Point, OH, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at River's Bend Health Care, South Point. He was born February 14, 1948 in Wayne County, WV a son of the late Joe and Elsie Mary Marshall Adkins. A sister, Lenora Ross, also preceded him in death. Survivors include: a sister, Rena Jones of South Point, OH; a niece, Christi Lee Adkins; and four nephews, Robert Jones, Shawn Jones, Charles Lee Smith, and Joe Ross. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Rev. Scott Mann officiating. Burial will be in Stephens Cemetery, Wayne County, WV. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
