Betty J. Perry, 72, of Lavalette, WV, passed away peacefully in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House on Sunday, March 25, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband Don Perry; parents Gordon Lee and Helena Naomi Wilks; and one brother, Gordon J. Wilks. She is survived by daughters Sherry (Dale) Osburn and Shelly (Brock) Tucker; two grandchildren, Miranda Osburn and Tyler Tucker whom she adored, all of Huntington. Also four brothers, Buddy (Carolyn) Hudson of Covina, CA, Raymond, Henry and Cokey Wilks all of Huntington; sisters-in-law Betty and Benny Anderson of Huntington and Helen Phillips of Murfreesboro, TN; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Ron and Sue Cade. The family would like to thank Dr. Rollins and staff, Dr. Bir and the HIMG Oncology Department, Hospice of Huntington, special care giver Helen Carter, and those who have prayed and sent cards during her illness. There will be a private graveside service for the family with Tracy Call officiating. Burial will be in Plybon Cemetery, Huntington, WV. Chapman's Mortuary is assisting the family.
