ObituaryJane Frances Ghiz Baldwin, of Huntington, WV, died at her daughter's home Saturday, March 3, 2018. She was the youngest daughter of Syrian and Lebanese immigrants William Mitchell and Rosa Ann Mansour-Ghiz. She was a Christian by faith. She was a graduate of Huntington High School and attended Huntington Junior College of Business. Early in her career she worked as a Personnel Manager for Maidenform Manufacturing Company. She was later employed by the WV Employment Office. She retired from the Cabell County Board of Education after working for over twenty years as a Secretary at Emmons Elementary School. She taught Ballroom Dancing at The Arthur Murray School of Dance and enjoyed ice skating in her younger years. She welcomed everyone into her home and had a great love for children. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by: a son, Gary Alan Baldwin; sisters, Freda Ghiz, Alice Jordan, Louise Hage, Hazel Dial, and Josephine Whitley; a brother, Joseph Ghiz; special nephews, Albert Ghiz, Joe Ghiz, and Robert Dial; niece and goddaughter, Sharon Hage Reeder; niece, Louise Holappa; great niece, Jeanette Hensley; and niece, Michelle Corbett-Crane. She is survived by a daughter, Gina Kaye Baldwin of Huntington, WV; Donald Lucas; the Muneer Albalushi Family whom she loved; nieces, Carolyn Dial, Jeannie Bevins, and Patricia Corbett-Martin; great nieces, Beverly Buxton-Mease and Alicia Ghiz-Fox; great nephews, Bill Ghiz, John Ghiz, Aaron Reeder, and nephew-in-law, J.R. Reeder; great great niece, Tara Hensley; and nieces-in-law, Pauletta Ghiz, JoJo Ghiz, and Rose Dial. Visitation will be from noon to 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington. A graveside service will be conducted by Pastor Bob Hogsett at Spring Hill Cemetery immediately following the visitation. The family would like to extend a special thank you to: Coach Don Lucas for his 24/7 assistance with Jane during the last year of her life; Renee Hall-Wilson; Dr. C. Dewayne Tackett, M.D.; Marianna Clark-Pillichody and the office staff of Dr. Tackett; Jennifer Casey, LPN/CCM; Shawn Johns; J.C.
