Obituary

James Edward Sinnette Sr.
(December 11, 1943 - January 16, 2018)

James Edward Sinnette Sr., 74, of Huntington, WV, passed away on January 16, 2018. He was born December 11, 1943, in Logan County, WV, a son of the late Clarence Eastwood Sinnette and Virginia Keener Sinnette. He worked for C & O Railroad, Chessie System and CSX. During semi retirement he worked at the library at Marshall University. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Sinnette. He is survived by one daughter, Melanie Anne Sinnette and her husband Michael Campbell of Savage, Maryland; one son, James “Jim” Sinnette of Alexandria, VA; one brother and his wife, John and Robyn Sinnette of Kingsport, TN; three grandchildren, Sabrina, Stone, and Sully. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 20, 2018, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Elder Delmar Adkins. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery, Huntington.
