Obituary for Lucy Ruth Morrison Ferguson

Lucy Ruth Morrison Ferguson, 76, of Huntington, WV, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2016, in Cabell Huntington Hospital. She was born January 8, 1940 in Wayne County, WV a daughter of the late Wade Morrison Sr. and Sophia Bias Morrison. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul "Skip" Ferguson; two sisters, Ada Shepherd and Lesta Adkins; and five brothers, LeRoy Morrison, Walter Morrison, Paul Morrison, Herbert Morrison, and Richard Morrison. Survivors include: two sons, Paul D. "Jaybo" Ferguson (Teresa) of Lakeview, OH and Edward Lee Ferguson (Dawn) of Jacksonville, FL; a brother, Wade Morrison, Jr.(Opal); a sister-in-law, Lorine Morrison; grandsons, Colton Ferguson, Austin Ferguson, Westlee Ferguson, and Brandon Ferguson; and a special "granddaughter", Sunnette Kellum. Funeral services will be conducted at noon Sunday, June 19, 2016, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Bro. J.D. Keller officiating. Burial will be in Bowen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to noon Sunday at Chapman's Mortuary.
