Michael Allen Black, 64, of Huntington, WV, husband of Mary Angle Black, died Sunday, January 22, 2017, in St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born January 9, 1953, in Huntington, a son of the late Ralph and Virginia Horn Black. He was a US Army veteran, and retired from the Huntington Housing Authority as a maintenance mechanic. Survivors in addition to his wife include; one daughter, Tabitha Nottingham, and one son, Timothy Black both of Huntington; 2 sisters, Judy Poston and Delores Gundy also of Huntington; and 2 brothers, Bob Black of Huntington, and Roney Black of Shoals, WV; and his special granddaughter Kenzie Nottingham, who called him PawPa. The family will visit with friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm Tuesday at the funeral home. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Chapman's Mortuary is assisting the family.
