Obituary



Paul Anthony Russo, 51, of Huntington, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2017, in St. Mary's Medical Center. A Memorial Mass will be conducted at 11:00 am Monday, January 9, 2017, at Our Lady of Fatima Church, with Father Paul Yuenger officiating. He was born December 16, 1965, in Huntington, a son of the late James Joseph and Barbara Francis Hall Russo. One brother, James Vincent Russo also preceded him in death. He worked as a manager at Appalachian Tire. Survivors include three children, Michael Anthony Russo of Foster City, CA, Elizabeth Ann Russo of Huntington, and Kiersten Marie Russo of Richmond, VA; three sisters, Gwendolyn Ann Thomas of Deptford, NJ, Diane Marie Lemaster of Huntington, and Margaret Elizabeth Clifford of Val Rico, FL; one brother, Jeffery Jude Russo of Westfield, IN;, and two grandchildren. There will be a gathering at 10:30 am Monday at the church, and a luncheon immediately following Mass in the Parrish Hall. Chapman's Mortuary is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made towards the expense of the funeral. Anything collected in excess of the funeral costs will be donated to Hospice of Huntington in Paul's name. Checks can be made payable to Bill McIlvain of 319 10th Avenue, Huntington, WV 25701 who will be coordinating the payment of expenses and donation to Hospice.
