Raymond Douglas Smith, 68, of Ceredo, WV, died Saturday, January 7, 2017 at his residence. He was born June 12, 1948 in Kenova, WV, a son of the late Raymond Dewey and Mamie Bell Neal Smith. He had eight siblings also precede him in death. He was a veteran of the US Army, and a former owner and operator of a Heating and Cooling business. Survivors include a daughter, Angel R. Dixon of Huntington; a son, Joseph Smith of Ceredo; three grandchildren, Jonathan Dixon, Morgan Dixon and Sarah Smith; a sister, Nanna Smith of Ceredo; and two brothers, Edward Smith and Howard Smith and wife, Sharon Smith , all of Ceredo. A memorial service may be held at a later date.
