Obituary



Donna Gayle Lincoln, 78, of Bluffton SC, formerly of Huntington, WV passed away Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Hilton Head hospital in the presence of her loving family. Donna was born March 10, 1938 in Huntington a daughter of the late James Boyd Lincoln and Wilena Frances Ovockey. She was also preceded in death by her brother Ronald Leslie Johnson. Donna graduated from HEHS in 1956 where she was a majorette and named Miss Armed Forces. After graduation, she worked for C and P telephone for 3 years. She also worked as a secretary until her retirement in South Carolina. Donna is survived by her beloved sister and best friend Kay Hines of Beaufort, SC. Also surviving are her loving daughters Sarabeth Frazier (John) of Ona, WV, Lea Williams Allen of Bluffton, SC, and Laura Williams LaFiette of Cary, NC and her former husband Dale Williams, the father of her girls, of Huntington WV. Donna leaves behind grandchildren, Ryan Frazier (Alicia), Ridge Allen, Lane Allen, Olivia LaFiette, and Jason and Keri Frazier and one great grandchild Ian Frazier. She also had several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. "Rest well Mother". Your daughters, family and friends will miss you and we love you very much. A memorial service will be conducted 12:00 pm Saturday, January 21, 2017, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Dr. Ellis Conley officiating. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. Visitation will be one hour before the service Saturday at the funeral home. Celebration of Donna's life will be held after burial at the home of Sarabeth and John Frazier.
