Obituary


Patsy Kay Johnson, 69, of Salt Rock, WV, wife of Hubert Francis Johnson, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2017, in St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Monday, January 30, 2017, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor David Cardwell officiating. Burial will be in Enon Cemetery, Salt Rock WV. She was born November 24, 1947, in West Hamlin, WV, a daughter of the late Robert and Dora Adkins Scites. Four sisters and three brothers also preceded her in death. Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker, and attended Glory Way Baptist Church in Salt Rock. Survivors in addition to her husband include, four sisters, Lorraine and Harold Franklin of Florida, Vivian Kagle of South Carolina, Emma and David Henry of Illinois, and Sharon and Eddie Prichard of Ona, WV; two brothers, Robert and Kay Scites of Dayton, OH and Ray Scites of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. The family will visit with friends from 5:00 to 6:00pm Sunday at the funeral home.
