Obituary



Rose Marie "Midge" Aills, 78, of Huntington, wife of Carl Raymond Aills, entered fully into the presence of her Lord and Savior Wednesday, March 1, 2017 in Hospice of Dayton, Dayton, OH. She was born August 5, 1938 in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Chester Owen and Catherine Edmonds Rigney. She was a member of the Beverly Hills Church of Christ, was previously an active Girl Scout leader and enjoyed volunteering at the Hite Saunders Elementary School. Midge was also a devoted homemaker. In addition to her husband, survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Carla and Curtis Russell of Dayton; two grandchildren, Chad Owen Russell and Caitlyn Marie Russell, both of Dayton; and two brothers, Ronald Rigney and Kenneth Rigney. Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 pm Friday, March 10, 2017 at the Woodmere Memorial Park, Abbey of Devotion with Minister Wayne Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park. Friends may visit family a half hour before services at the cemetery.
