WILKIE DUANE BURGE

Wilkie Duane Burge, 81, of Huntington, died Sunday, March 5, 2017 at the Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born October 16, 1935 in Huntington, a son of the late Wilkie and Myrtle Betts Burge. A step son, Eddie Medding, and a brother, Mike Burge also preceded him in death. He was a former deck hand on river boats. Survivors include a daughter, Kathy Johnson and husband, Josh Johnson of Huntington; and a son, Duane Hummel. Graveside services will be conducted 9:00 am Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Bowen Cemetery with Pastor Corey Adkins officiating.
