William Edward Thacker, 57, of Proctorville, OH, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2017, in St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington. He was born August 31, 1959 in Colorado Springs, CO a son of the late Donald Richard and Juanita Marie Wray Bailey. Two brothers, David Anthony Thacker and Bryan Patrick Thacker, also preceded him in death. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a self-employed roofer and painter. Survivors include: a daughter, Tiffany Lyons and a son, Timothy Lyons, both of Defiance, OH; two brothers, Stephen Richard Thacker of Proctorville and Dennis Saxton of Gainesville, FL; a sister, Tracy Saxton of Huntington; six grandchildren, Colton Jones, Christopher Lyons-Jones, Kayleigh Lyons-Jones, Brandon Michael Ray, MacKenzie Nycole Lyons, and Ryan Creed Lyons; a great grandchild, Amiyah Gracelenn Jackson; and several special nieces and nephews. Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, is assisting the family.
