Obituary


Diane Marie Dean, 67, of Huntington, wife of Ronald Lee Dean, Sr., died Friday, March 3, 2017 at St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 pm Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at the First Altizer Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Fred Ramey officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. Diane was born July 4, 1949 in Niagara Falls, NY, a daughter of the late Samuel Arden and Mary Teresa Gammit Fisher. A brother, Richard Fisher also preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Altizer Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald Lee Dean, Jr. and Angie Dean of Cross Lanes, WV., and Richard R. Tickett, Jr., and Denise Tickett of Barboursville; three grandchildren, Rebecca Tickett and Joshua Tickett of Barboursville, and Stella Marie Dean of Cross Lanes; two sisters, Gracie Burnhart and husband, John Burnhart of Shinglehouse, PA., and Cathy MaGill of Huntington; a brother and sister-in-law, Samuel Arden Fisher, Jr., and Rhonda Fisher of Niagara Falls, NY; her best friend, Margo Fritten; several nieces and nephews; and her faithful companion, "Jose". Friends may visit family 5:00-7:00 pm Tuesday at Chapman's Mortuary, and after 11:00 am Wednesday at the church.
