Donna Jean Robinson, of Huntington, went to be with her Jesus on Sunday, March 26, 2017, at the age of 72 in Huntington, WV. Funeral services will be conducted at noon Thursday, March 30, 2017, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Terry Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Huntington. Donna was born January 21, 1945 in Seattle, WA and at the age of nine months moved to Chicago, IL, a daughter of the late Donald and Marguerette Lund Sears. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray (Butch) Robinson. Donna retired after delivering The Herald Dispatch 33 years. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir and was active in Sisters of Faith, making and crocheting prayer shawls for the Hospice House. She was past president of Hite Saunders PTA and in their children's reading program. She was a member of Guyandotte Chapter 89 O.E.S. She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Donald (Donnie) Robinson and wife Connie, of Huntington, and Robert Robinson and wife Amy of Proctorville, OH; four grandchildren, Nick Robinson and wife Kelsey and Brandon Robinson and fiancée Amanda, all of Huntington, and Sydney Robinson and Sam Robinson, both of Proctorville; Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at Chapman's Mortuary.
