Dr. Gregory Keith Shy, D.C. 57, of Kenova, WV, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017, in Saint Mary's Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted noon Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Chapman's Mortuary, with Minister David Roach officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. He was born September 19, 1959, in Huntington, a son of Toby Franklin and Janice Lewis Shy of Huntington. He was a member of the Ceredo Church of Christ, a graduate of Marshall University, and Parker Chiropractic School of Dallas, TX. He worked as a chiropractor for American Chiropractic of Louisville, KY. Survivors in addition to his parents include one sister, Michele Shy of Huntington; one brother, Dr. Jeffery Shy, DVM of Kenova; 5 aunts, Judy Bledsoe (Jim), Joan Tomblin, Pansy Whaley, Olive Smith (Ronnie), Willa Board (Vernon); two uncles, Delbert Shy and Vernon Dale Shy; special cousins, Kristie and Mark Swann, Kim Koukos and Joan Macomb; several other cousins, and special friends, Tammy Wellman, and Donna Ozbun.
