Obituary


Linda Leota Roy Harless 64, of Huntington, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, March 5, 2017, in Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 pm Friday, March 10, 2017 at Chapman's Mortuary, with Pastor Ray Knapp officiating. She was born October 1, 1952, in Huntington, a daughter of the late George Beverly and Addie Brewer Roy. One sister, Betty Ann Chapman, and two brothers, Eugene B. and James E. Roy also preceded her in death. She was a homemaker, and attended First Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Leanna and Darryl Smith of Huntington; one son and daughter-in-law, Thomas A. Harless, III, and Lonna of Prichard, WV; two grandchildren, Megan M. Toney (Logan) of Chesapeake, OH, and Thomas M. Harless of Prichard, WV; great-granddaughter, Addie Kennedy; one sister, Brenda E. Watts of Huntington; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill D. and Arlene Roy of Huntington, and George M. and Louise Roy of IN; and a host of nieces and nephews.
