Obituary



Cynthia Leota "Lee" Park, 88, of Huntington, WV, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2017, at St. Mary's Medical Center. Lee was born October 27, 1928 in Hugheston, WV a daughter of the late Kenneth Lee and Belva Campbell Shank. Her husband, Claude Jackson Park, Jr.; a son, Bill Park; a sister, Joanna Gent; and two brothers, Charles E. Shank and Donald K. Shank, also preceded her in death. She was a member of Trinity Church of God. Survivors include: two sons, Phillip Park and Paul (Ruth Ann) Park, all of Huntington; a grandson, Allen Macom (Silvia) Park of Silver Spring, MD; and a sister, Rosemary (Bob) Gardner of Chippewa Lake, OH. Funeral services will be conducted at noon Monday, March 27, 2017, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Ken Toler officiating. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton, WV. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to noon Monday at Chapman's Mortuary.
