Ronald Eugene Hardesty, 60, of Huntington, husband of Connie Sue Blake, died Wednesday November 2, 2011 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. He was born January 29, 1951 in Huntington, a son of the late Donald Calvin and Beulah Floyd Hardesty. Ronald had two brothers also precede him in death, Don Hardesty and Ed Hardesty. He was an auto mechanic. In addition to his wife, survivors include four sons, Ronald Lee Hardesty, Dale Ray Hardesty, Brian Blake, and William Blake; a daughter, Brittani Watson; his sister, Janie Hardesty; and eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 6:00 PM Saturday November 5, 2011 at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington. He will be cremated and laid to rest at a later date. Donations may be made to the family to help at this time of need. Friends may visit one hour before services Saturday at Chapman’s Mortuary.
