Shawn Edward Lawrence, 34, of Huntington, WV, died Sunday, November 20, 2011, in Saint Mary’s Medical Center from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, November 25, 2011, at Chapman’s Mortuary with Josh Huffman officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. He was born February 15, 1977, in Baltimore, MD., a son of Bonnie Lucille Keyser of Huntington, and the late Clarence L. Keyser. He was an aide for Res Care and attended New Life Church. Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Ashley Lane Smith Lawrence, a daughter Maya Elizabeth Lawrence at home; five sisters and two brothers-in-law, Crystal Thompson and Tracy and Donnie Ney all of Huntington, April Shoemaker of Bay City, TX, Leann and Luke Justice of Huntington, and Jewely Eaves of Milton; one brother Gilbert Lawrence of Huntington; his dog Smokie; special friends, Randy Peyton and family, Howard Scites and family Michael Zamow; Dwayne Manard all of Huntington; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Shawn enjoyed camping, fishing, and the great outdoors. He was also an avid Dallas Cowboys and Marshall Thundering Herd fan.
