Elvis Lee Jarvis, Jr.
(December 30, 1950 - July 20, 2015)


Elvis Lee "Duke" Jarvis, Jr. 64, of Huntington, WV, died Monday July 20, 2015 in St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday July 23, 2015 at White Chapel Memorial Garden's Christus Mausoleum, Barboursville, with Pastor Robert Ray officiating. Duke was born December 30, 1950 in Huntington, WV a son of the late Elvis Lee and Norma Hensley Jarvis. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Germany and was an auto mechanic. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Ira Dale Jarvis. Survivors include one sister, Susan Marie Jarvis of Huntington, two brothers, Willard Anthony (Sunny) Jarvis of Virginia Beach, VA, and Terry James (Vickie) Jarvis of Huntington, and one son Lee Peters of Springfield, MO. Veterans Honor Guard Post 16 will conduct military graveside rites. Friends may visit with the family from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Wednesday July 22, 2015 at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington.
