Obituary
Alberta "Bertie" Amy Brewer Short
83 of Glenwood, widow of Owyer Short, passed away July 21, 2015 at home with
her daughter Barbara Gray. She was born April 7, 1932, a daughter of the
late Kenneth T. and Amy Chapman Brewer. She was a homemaker and attended
several churches in the area when able. Graveside services 11:00 am
Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Fairview Cemetery with Pastor Doug Spurlock
officiating. Survivors include two daughters, Bonnie Weimann (Andy) of
Chesire, OH, Barbara Gray (Earl) of Glenwood, WV; two sons, Russell Short
(Debra) of Stoutsville, OH, Junior Short (Nettie) of Milton; one brother
Kenneth Brewer (Leah) of Glenwood; 7 grandchildren, Leslie Wilson (Cody),
Amy Monroe (Chet), Mary Lou Mullins, Lisa Gardner (Lee), Tabitha Harmon,
Timothy short and Jared Johnson; 12 great-grandchildren, several great-great
grandchildren and a host of friends and family. Bertie was loved and will be
dearly missed. Chapman's Mortuary is assisting the family.
