Richard Lee Langham
(April 29, 1935 - July 29, 2015)



Richard Lee Langham 80, of Huntington, died Wednesday, July 29, 2015 in St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born April 29, 1935 in Huntington, a son of the late John and Mary Davis Langham. A brother, Ronald Langham, also preceded him in death. He retired from INCO as a computer programmer, was a US Navy Veteran, and attended College of William and Mary. He was a former member of the Jefferson Avenue Baptist Church and a Kentucky Colonel. Survivors include a sister and brother-in-law, Ruth Ann and Bob Young of Fayetteville, GA; a son, Michael Lee Langham; daughter, Arlene Langham; two granddaughters, and a grandson. Special family and wonderful friends, Carroll and Mary Lou Stephenson with whom Richard "Dick" shared their lives and home for 25 years of loving, caring, and sharing God's Blessings. Funeral service 2:00 pm Friday, July 31, 2015, at Chapman's Mortuary with Rev. Robert Gillette officiating. Burial with Military Honors conducted by Veterans Honor Guard Post 64, will be in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Huntington. Donations may be made to Little Victories.
