Obituary

NORMA JEAN BOOTH
(August 26, 1935 - May 15, 2015)


NORMA JEAN BOOTH, 79, of Ceredo, W.Va, passed away May 15, 2015, in St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born August 26, 1935, in Ashton, W.Va., a daughter of the late Vinson and Effie Waugh Turner. One son, Gary Burns, and one grandson, David Messinger, also preceded her in death. She was a seamstress for Huntington Tent and Awning. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, MaryAnn and Jerry Carmichael, of Elyria, Ohio; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Charles and Beth Burns, of Beaver, W.Va., and Rick Burns of Elyria, Ohio; two grandchildren, Timothy and Angela Bascue, of Elyria, Ohio, and Joshua and April Bascue, of Point Pleasant; several great grandchildren; and a nephew, Freddie Holley of Point Pleasant, W.Va. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date. Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, is assisting the family.
