Joyce Ann Scarberry
(August 27, 1934 - May 1, 2015)

Joyce Ann Scarberry, 80, of Huntington, WV, passed away Friday, May 1, 2015, at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 pm Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, with Elder Nathaniel Ward officiating. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. She was born August 27, 1934, in Huntington, a daughter of the late Bernice and Mary Chapman Burns. She was a homemaker and a member of Thomas Memorial Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors include: her husband, Granville Lloyd Scarberry; two sons, Larry Adkins and Granville Scarberry, both of Huntington; four step daughters, Callie Webb of Huntington, Brenda (Delbert) Smith of Kenova, and Bonita Porter and Teresa (Nathaniel) Ward, all of Huntington; two step sons, Irvin (Nellie) Scarberry of Lesage, WV and Randall (Linda) Scarberry of Wayne, WV; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday, May 4, 2015, at Chapman’s Mortuary.
