Obituary



Ralph Eugene Dennison, 78, of Huntington, WV, died Friday June 1, 2018 at his residence. Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 PM Tuesday June 5, 2018 at Harmony United Methodist Church with Pastor Phil Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park. Ralph was born January 31, 1940 in Huntington, WV a son of the late Virgil and Mary Jordan Dennison. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the American Legion. He was a wielder for ACF and the City of Huntington and retired from the Huntington Sanitary Board. He was also preceded in death by his wife Carol Geraldine Dennison and a daughter Vicki Poston. Survivors include four daughters, Rhonda (Mike) Sheridan of Ironton, OH, Mary Asbury and Lynn Meadows both of Huntington and Doris Ticknor of Chesapeake, OH, three sons, Ronnie (Missie) Dennison of Huntington, Bruce (Michelle) Dennison of Lavalette and John (Patty) Meadows of Ashland, KY, one sister, Janice Murdock of Live Oak, FL, a special cousin, Richard Nance of Huntington, 24 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Veterans Honor Guard Post 16 will conduct military graveside rites. Visitation will be from noon until 1:00 PM at the church on Tuesday.
